Re: North Rebel sizing for heavy rider

Rebel 14 2018 is a good kite, 4 lines, not very powerfull, but has great highend, with your weight you'll be riding it anyway not at 10 knots wind.
Forget the the Rebel 18 - that one was a disaster.

Re: 2018 North Evo, any thoughts?

Thanks for chiming in, it sounds good so far, what bar have you matched it with, I actually have a 12m 2018 evo waiting at home but I won’t be able to fly it until March, I was thinking of adding a 9m evo as well so I’m pretty much covered for all conditions, but before biting the bullet again I th...

Re: 2018 North Evo, any thoughts?

Have been flying the 12m for an hour with 22m lines on a waveboard at lighter winds. Light bar pressure (used to NEOs on hard setting), pretty quick turning for the size, though I think it would genarate more power on a 24m lines. Overall impresion - the kite flyes very easy and "on it's own". Next ...

Re: Canopy Trinity by North... where to buy the original parts to do a repair?

Ask you nearest NKB dealer as they can order the fabric in desired color by the manufacturer.

Re: North Click Bar Official Unofficial Thread

Just remove the V-distributor completely and you'll have a bar with low V. Kite behavior will change though.
My question: has somebody tried the NKB ACE on an low V setting or any other traditional 4liner bar?

Re: ION CS Wave Harness, waiting but not sure now.

Sorry for the delay in responding... Was out for a few days. Here's a photo of a production CS Wave harness spreader along with a replacement C Bar with standard hook just under it. You'll note that the attachment is different. The replacement hook ships with the clip so if you get a CS wave and a ...

Re: WMFG Big Pump - does it work with 2016- North kites and Core kites?

The silicone o-ring to seal the airflow is easy to loose, but the pump works fine without it on NKB kites.

Re: Click Bar Highlights

Yes, I fully agree on the (NKB) theory, but in reality there is a difference how the kite feels when the 5th line is loaded just above the Y and when its loaded through the whole lenght. Thats why Rebel and Vegas fly perfectly with a new (out of the bag) 5th el. bar, but after some time (when the li...

Re: ION CS Wave Harness, waiting but not sure now.

Hi, can you please share a link with these negative reviews? I just got the new CS Freeride, did not use it yet, but the harness looks realy nice and well built. Can't imagine that there are any issues with the straps as they are exact the same as last years models. I used the new hook with the plat...

Re: Click Bar Highlights

I never liked how depowered kites flew now they fly great, because you change back line length not front lines so kite flies correctly when depowered. Whats so funny here? This is a correct statement, because when depowering through the frontlines, the 5th line gets very slack under the ...
