It can be pretty unreliable at that time, the trades usually kick in around Christmas.

Re: Impact and flotation vest

I have had one of these for several years now. Sea-Tee Inflatable Rash Guard by Float Tech, http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=52790. Early on I had a couple of accidental inflations but I cut the tab off and never had a problem since. I have blown it up manually a c...

The 110+ year history of hydrofoils. http://www.hydrofoil.org/history.html Looks like it's all been invented. Really just application engineering.

Re: Liquid Force fun foil

I've been foiling for almost a year. I know that all the really good foilers (and TT riders) spend all their time on forums, but based on the people I've seen on the water, I'm doing OK in terms of my progression. I have a Lift foil and board. When I bought it, a year ago, I purchased the older, low...

The bag is a nice touch, something other foil companies should offer!

Isurus. They don't market to kiters but hands down the best suit I have owned. Expensive, but worth it.

Sorry Mike, it's not for sale. You may want to get in touch with Dimitri, at Epic. He has a line of kids stuff for his son Cameron.

You will find some marine equipment in Baddeck, Sydney and Port Hawksbury but no kite stuff.

Re: Kite Locations in Cape Breton - Nova Scotia - October?

There are some nice beaches south of Louisbourg, in the Fouchu area. Great wave riding, but very desolate. The ocean side in that area is very cold all year long. It's been a few years for me, but I doubt you will find many other kiters in CB. The happening spot is Malpeque, PEI and I think Lawrence...
