Re: Ozone R1 V3 is out?

I'm very interested by this description, "OUR UNDERSTANDING OF TRUE RACE PERFORMANCE IS NOT ONLY RAW POWER AND SPEED – IT IS THE COMBINATION OF EVERY ASPECT OF A KITES CHARACTERISTICS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW EASY IT IS TO ACCESS ITS FULL POTENTIAL." I've been on the Flysurfer VMG for a few months...

Re: ozone Hyperlink V2 wishes

I struggle to understand why Soul is compared with Hyperlink? It is similar to comparing a C-kite to a allround-freestyle tube. Both are great but for different things. Is it a marketing thing from FS, or where did it come from? We all know higher AR means more performance. The comparison should be ...

Re: Bridle complexity

Another aspect of bridle is if they are sheeted. It greatly lowers risk of tangle and knots in setup/packing. It also makes them more durable. Naturally there is a compromise: Added weight and bridle-drag (and line is more expensive).

Re: Whats going on with Xensr

Yeah, good question. My analysis of this is that the time to market is not long enough for them to test stuff properly. Sort of learn-as-you-go. Not really a big issue for me but if/when companies have time to go belly-up in that time it sucks for the guys who have paid. Why do they all need to be r...

Whats going on with Xensr

Hello guys. I sporadically get answers from Xensr regarding what is going on with their replacement-units. They have been promising Version 2.0 for a good while now but it has yet to be shipped (at least mine). Its about 6 months of now. I am still waiting for about 50 replacement units but have sto...

Re: How long should a kite last before requiring repairs?

Im not sure on where/how this seem to happen. And it if is a usual point for abrasion I agree, it should have an additional patch. How ever, every reenforcement added ads weight and increase cost, so thee has to be a line where to stop. Personally I dont think kites should be self launched other the...
