Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

Hi ORsales. What’s the shortest lines you would recommend for the flite 10m? Thanks. The shortest we would normally recommend is 15m. You could try 12m but be aware that this may cause some inward pressure on the LE due to line angle and could lead to some funky behaviour so test fly in stable wind...

Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

Really want to try Razor, Roam and heck all of them, but there are no dealers here and I'm not buying kites untried any more :( Hey there Kamikuza... We offer a 30 Day Guarantee on all our products sold. I try to avoid encouraging people to use it as a demo program per se but certainly, if you boug...

Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

If you don’t mind saying, who’s the new designer(s)? We continue to aggressively expand our internal design team. The heart of our team will always be Richard and Ross who collaborate on all of the products we sell but under them we now have a large team of designers working full time to not only d...

Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

The new line up looks great, congratulations! Thanks! I've not been this excited for a product launch, ever. Really proud of the line up, the refinements and the effort that went into getting it all market ready by our team. Great to see you starting to follow the standard but how do the knots at t...

Re: Travel Question...Union Island

I've not been to Union but I know people who have and who came back very stoked on Jeremie's input and guidance. I have no horse in this race as Jeremie has long since left our brand but I can say, he's a top notch guy and was great to work with. If you're considering the island, be sure to try to c...

Re: Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

So, I read a video comment somewhere that the next generation Stick Shift bar is making it's rounds. Any tech or info on it? Can't say much other than that we are far from done with the Stick Shift's bar design. It is our goal to continue to drive that bar's development forward for years to come. A...

PS:. Can you guys release the Flite in smaller sizes (6, 7)
Second that !!! Hey John you see there's a market for smaller Flites, come on !
Never say never! Though, that being said - not currently in the pipeline!

I will add it to the quarterly review for discussion though!

Re: 3 bars from 3 manufacturers ? Or not

You're correct. 2018 all kites will fly with 4 equal line lengths. We are working now to produce web and video support for all customers to explain the change but in summary: 2018 kites with 2018 bars - no changes needed, flies out of the bag 2018 kite with 2017 (or earlier) bars - requires bar ada...

Re: 3 bars from 3 manufacturers ? Or not

Good decision. I am all for doing stuff different, being innovative and creative. But with something like this, now that there's a market standard, better to go with it. As a holder of a mix n match quiver, my wind-addled kite-brain will be grateful to not have to switch pigtails under beach sessio...
