Re: Kiteshop in Orlando

Olá, Marc! Kite-line.com was my first choice, I bought my helmet there, but they don't have any helmet to sell, unfortunately. The helmet is for a friend of mine, his brother-in-law will be going to Orlando soon, and is supposed to bring a helmet to him. I'll pass your tips to him, one hour from Orl...

Kiteshop in Orlando

Hi kitebrothers, long time far from this great forum, nice to come back and meet you all. :) After another tragical accident here in Brasil, in the city of João Pessoa, I've been trying to convince kiters from my city to buy their helmets, and one of them asked about kiteshops in Orlando, looks like...

slingshot rally 2012 - need opinions

Hi guys, yesterday I had the opportunity to test a rally 12, size 12, and enjoyed it. I have a waroo 13 2008, and like it a lot, but now it is approaching time to renew my quiver. Unfortunately the 2008/2009 waroo generation has been discontinued, and could see there are no more bularoos as well. So...

Re: Teaching elder 40+

I'm 47 and learned kitesurf when was 40. Connected kiteloops, two or three boardoff tricks, transitions, rotations, etc, but no handlepasses and powered tricks, not that I didn't want to learn them, but because I respect my body, it is not a matter of fear. The best thing of having learned kitesurf ...

Re: Best Old Schoolers currently?

Miller Morais from Brasil, he is from Ilha Bela, São Paulo. He is a board-off enthusiast. And Sostenes, from the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil. If you intend to organize a board-off event in Brasil, why don't you contact them???

Stainless roller/no pulleys in Switchblade bridle

A friend of mine recently purchased a Switchblade 2010 and I could see there is no more pulleys on the bridle, but only small stainless rollers with no pulleys. Is there any kiteshop where I can buy those rollers? I found them to be safer and would like to replace my waroo pulleys. Thanks Andre Soares

Which is the best kite nowadays for kiteloops, and why? Is the Slingshot RPM a good choice?

Re: Board-pass trick

I can easily take the board off with my left hand, rotate it and then put my feet back, this has been easy, as well as just taking it, kicking feet up and completing the trick, however the right hand simply freezes! I'll practice as you mentioned, I know it is just a matter of time and persistence t...
