At the very least I know the 2017 bar I have is not compatible with the 2018 upgrade kit!
What's more disconcerting is the North dealer that sold it to you didn't know that the 2017 bar is not compatible with the 2018 conversion kit. :duh:

Re: North Trust Quad bar 5th Element Upgrade issue

Hi, I just purchased a brand new 2017 North Trust bar and the 5th Element Upgrade Kit. Both the kit instructions as well as the online videos point to a pre-existing 9mm stainless steel ring on the bar located just above the stainless steel pulley; a 9mm ring that looks to bridge two lines on the r...

Re: How to choose a good harness?

A harnesses is your most intimate and thus most important piece of gear imo. Any kind of gear that makes contact with your body or has to work in conjunction with your body is where money should NOT be a deciding factor. Fit, comfort, and the desired features for application(s) should be the utmost ...

Re: Ozone bar for Liquid Force Wow V2?

I'm currently flying a 12M 2016 Ozone Enduro (amazing kite) and using the Ozone bar. I'm looking at getting a new 9M and to save money will most likely go with a 2017 model. Can anyone tell me... Is there any issue using the Ozone bar with the Liquid Force Wow V2 kite? I'd rather not spend a few ex...

Pretty sure you won’t find a kite specific uscg approved vest because of requirements they have for buckels... I just bought the ride engine vest and it fits great and doesn’t impact my motion.
One does exist:

Re: Kitesurf boards to learn strapless/wave

kiteboarding is full of garbage clueless marketing regarding surfboards for kiting unfortunately its kind of embarrasing, nothing wrong with that 6' to learn on and keep riding on. best with surfboards is to swap boards out and learn about them as you go yourself, even the surfboard industry itself...

Re: New Lines

**Disclaimer, I sell bars... Good gosh man, just upgrade to a new bar. You can find lots of bars out there on closeout that are going to be just a little more than the replacement line set. And the safety systems have evolved to work significantly better and more reliably since back then. Bonus? Yo...
