Re: Eye Protection Goggles that can be used with helmet

I've been using Wiley-X for about ten years. My first ones were goggles that had detachable earpieces you could switch for a strap. My newer ones are sunglasses with removable gaskets. The strap has a neat system and I always get polarized.

Re: Georgia Kiters

Saturday should be good on Jekyll. The access across from putt-putt will have room even at high tide. I have to work or I'd be there! Have fun Patrick!

Re: Georgia Kiters

Jekyll and St. Simons have great setups. Depending on wind direction and tide we get waves and buttery flat water. Last time I kited was at Gould's Inlet and it was flat on the inside and head high waves outside! I'm up for a boat trip, though. If you drive to Florida, Hueganot Park is great.

Re: How many winters does your wetsuit last?

First Mystic lasted 3 years before the first tear, Aquaseal made it last 2 more. On my second Mystic, no tears or holes and it has been over 1 year.

Re: Light wind board recommendation

Litewave Wing slices through chop. Doesn't feel too big, either.

Re: Screws coming loose. Remedies?

Been using tape for 10 years on various boards with no loosening. I agree it is slippery, but for some reason it works.

Re: Screws coming loose. Remedies?

Seriously, use the tape. It even works wet. After the first session, tighten the screws a little more and forget about'em. Loctite and impact drivers are WAY too much mess and work.
