Re: Impact vest vs cracked ribs?

Broke my ribs couple of years ago on a kiteloop gone wrong. Landed on my side and broke 2 lower ribs. I was wearing an inpact vest but that did not help. IMO a wrong harness that squeezes you (LIKE 90% OF THEM!) is the cause of many rib fractures. My rib cage is permanently deformed on 1 side and mo...

Re: Perfect 2017 Vegas sizes set (+ 12m real low end question)

I wouldn't go with 10m personally because I would rather to aggressive kiteloop with 9m than 10m but that S only if you plan on working on Megaloop. Exactly why I want to keep the 9 in there. Did not try a 10 but would be worried it would be a tad slow for powered kiteloops. 9 and 8 are magic sizes...

Re: Perfect 2017 Vegas sizes set (+ 12m real low end question)

I have 2016 12, 9, 7 at 77kg. Almost never use the 7 though, needs a lot of wind to be fun. My next quiver will be 12, 9, 8.

Range of the Vegas is amazing. I am sure an 8 will cover me up to 35knts easy.

Re: Looking for kite recommendation that fit my style (mixed, but mostly oldschool)

Ocean Rodeo Prodigy is one that really surprised me as an allrounder. I bought 7 & 9.5 for waves only but using it more and more for everything and my freestyle kites are getting less use. Prodigy is awesome for freeride and throws nice controlled kiteloops. Unhooked it has not as much slack as dedi...

Re: The Truth behind Naish Warranties

We customers are a weird bunch at times. Generally I think in this industry we are spoiled with excellent service but it causes people to have an unrealistic view on what should be the norm. The irony is that the people who decide NOT to purchase a Naish kite due to this post are exactly the people ...

Re: Jay 2017 Game Changer

Harness looks ok. Competition for ride engine is a good thing. It will only improve harness tech and hopefully lead to a bit more reasonable pricing.

Re: King of the Air 2017 Entry Videos

Do-it is a bad ass looping mofo and we are blessed for him to share all his mega looping experience in any loop related topic. Really, one of these days he will show all of us how it is done. First he needs to tune his lines a bit as they are uneven from all the looping he did before. Crazy mad shit...

Re: Most Comfortable Harness

That will be different for each individual. I like the Manera Exo as it does not squeeze the ribs and stays put pretty well. Mate of me hates it though as it rides up on his body shape.
