Re: Nobile Kites with Epic Control Bar

Rosco,

Lines on Nobile bar are equal in length when fully sheeted in, it releases to one inside line.
It will fly fine on your Epic bar - 50/50 is a great kite, btw.
Also, short pigtails on outside lines, anout 1 inch in length.

Re: North Carolina Newbie Looking for Advice.

Stop by Radikal Kiteboarding and talk to Ed there. He'll get you up and riding on that Flying Carpet in no time. I believe he offers the lowest prices on the island too. First kite shop when entering tri-vilages, on your right, you can't miss it. Jetskis and beautiful launching area behind the shop ...

Re: What kites to try - RRD, Ozone, Cabrinha, Ocean Rodeo, E

Hey JKicker,
If you are in OBX go to Radikal Kiteboarding and try both T5 and Fifty/50 from Nobile.
This years T5 flies so well... as well as last years - and that was an outstanding kite.

Re: Difference between Nobile 50/fifty and NHP boards?

I rode 2hd in chop a couple of times, it was suprisingly smooth there. 2HD is stiffer and rocker is flatter.
The board is very efficient, goes really fast, one can hold huge amount of power, has more locked-in feel. Huge jumper. Goes upwind like crazy.

Re: Difference between Nobile 50/fifty and NHP boards?

The rocker is very similar, 50/50 might be actually a bit flatter, you are right. But 50/50 has softer flex.
That NHP is 137cm so it is the widest one, but yes, looks like NHP has wider tips.

Re: Difference between Nobile 50/fifty and NHP boards?

So if I want the NHP, which size should I go for? I'm 190 centimetres tall and weigh 90 kilos. 44 centimetres wide sounds really wide and maybe hard to edge the board, but maybe it's not? Can you use boots on the NHP 2013? Liquid Force Cradle boots. Hey Aloha, Go with 140. Check out the pictures, N...

Re: Difference between Nobile 50/fifty and NHP boards?

Hey, 50/50 has wider stance, I'd say by maybe 2 inches, one can definitely feel the difference. 50/50s are also longer and narrower. Flex feels very similar, both boards are extremely smooth. NHP would be a better choice for all around, amazing board, does everything well. Not sure about Shinn being...
