Re: What happened to "Twister Tech" ?

I'm sure HP fans will be more than happy with them, better built, same Cuben and Twister Tech handling, new lightweight/higher strength anisotropic canopy fabrics just like the Taboo and the most balls out big-air, jumping and hangtime performance we've ever delivered. It's good to have it back. Ca...

Re: What happened to "Twister Tech" ?

I have the 2009 Nemesis 12 and 10. I have never flown such fast, and fast turning kites. Had lots of laughs on my local beach when friends take them out for a spin, and find them hard to control they turn so quickly. Love them, but 11psi is required as stated in the manual. That's HARD! Never had my...

Re: Wipika trade-mark for sale

I had a wipika 22.5 sq.m. C kite at one time! And the Wipika Uprise board, designed by Eric Herstens, is still the best board I have ever ridden. Unfortunately it broke in two after a bad landing, and it's now impossible to buy one. I had to make a copy out of marine ply and fibreglass for myself, a...

Re: plywood?

What you are doing will be so worth it! Know this is slightly off topic as it's not really fin related, but.. Made this marine ply board more than two years ago: http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2338405&hilit=wood+board&start=0 Would have to say it the best board I have ever had, love it...

Re: Dakine Tabu harness falling apart

I have always thought Dakine had excellent products, having windsurfed with some of their products many years ago. My two month old Pyro had one one side rip off completely a month or so ago, very surprised. I contacted the local dealer, said yes he would gladly replace it, but he had no stock till ...

Two month old Dakine Pyro rips apart!

Bought a brand new Dakine Pyro less than three months ago I have used Dakine for many years as I always thought their gear to be bomb proof. Very surprised earlier this week when the connection between the spreader and harness ripped off completely. Luckily the velco belt held together long enough f...

Re: Warner Beach kiting movie

Thanks for the positive responses.
We are a group of about 20 kiters 35kms South of Durban, on the south east coast of South Africa.
The youngest kiter in the movie is Nicole at 21 years, and the oldest is Denis, at 66 years.
He has to be the most stoked kiter I have ever met!

Re: RE: Beauty Shots

Hi Sebi, just recently returned form a four month holiday in West Australia, and recognised the spot in your photo with the dolphins.
My wife and myself also kited with the same dolphins, what an awesome spot.
Took this picture in the same place, what fun the kiter, the dog, and us watching, had!
