Re: Does anyone reuse Kite boxes?

100% keep them, I use them for postage when selling on in the future, really useful strong boxes.

Chlorine is water is so low and generally evaporated off by the time it comes out a tap it would have zero effect of the ripstop, it's an old myth that.

Re: Battle of the lake

Any details? Never heard of it before, there used to be a freestyle event in the lake behind Rhosneigr?

Re: Naish Torque 55 ATB 2020 vs 2021

Just measured my ATB 55 - As per "Dirk's" measurements - settings allow for 50cm on outer setting and 45cm on inner. I have never had any issues with slow turning speed on the 50cm setting, I ride my 14m Dash on that and it's plenty fast. Naish don't do a bigger bar.

Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

Larger board = easier to land tricks because of more surface area.
That's not the case in my opinion. If anything it's harder if the board is oversized as you will catch an edge more.

Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

Hi, what the other recommended is spot on, get a small edge, best would be an 8m for your weight.

Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

I would go for a 8-9m Naish Pivot, superb boosting kite, fast turning (unlike the dog slow turning speed of the Edge :-) ), super stable and great wind range. The Pivot is just a great fun kite.

Recommendation: Mystic Ease 2mm gloves

I recently purchased a pair of 2mm open palm Mystic Ease 2mm winter gloves, they're really good. I recommend trying these for 6 to 12 degrees celsius (air temp) kitesurfing. They size up slightly small, I purchased a size large and they're the perfect snug fit you want with this style. The front has...

Re: Weird issue with a 6 month old bar

As per post above, I would never buy Duotone bar! For ages there has been loads of problems
