Funny you mentioned that, I felt the same thing, so I called Slingshot and they are sending me out another set of rubber strips so I can cut them and insert them with the straps on and use the un-cut pair when I ride strapless. Just check your lines on your bar.

at full power they should all be the same length.

Tie them to something strong and put some tension on to see what needs to be adjusted.

If you don't feel comfortable give your bar to an experienced rider and have them check your lines for you.
