Re: Mutants for stupid conditions!

I've been having fun with the Liquid Force Space Craft. Works pretty good in either direction, but favors the pointy end.

I applied some yellow tape so I can spot on the water.

Re: Board maintenance

It's a twin-tip, right? Just use two-part marine epoxy where the edges have been crunched so the board doesn't delaminate. Apply and sand. Why bother with the top coat.

You should lose the thumb screw and replace it with a regular screw. I have seen people get their lines caught on the thumb screw much more often than any other part of the line mount.
Agreed. When I sell them, I provide a stainless steel bolt.

An option for a REVL linemount is the U.Go product. See https://www.ugokiteboardingwest.com/ under the linemount tab.

Re: Beastmount breakage, your opinions?

What's the setup time like with the u.go? This is the biggest reason I very rarely use my camrig (besides the kitemares I've had with it), it just takes too long to detach all the rubber pieces and stick them back in, kind of a pain in the ass when the adrenaline is pumping and you just want to get...

Re: Beastmount breakage, your opinions?

I had the same issue with the Beastmount V1. Ditched it for the U.Go linemount and now I sell them. I place it at various locations on my center lines...no problem. Check out https://www.ugokiteboardingwest.com/ Interesting product; is it flexible? Hard to tell from the video. Also: when inserting ...

Re: Beastmount breakage, your opinions?

I thought I read the Ugo can be used as a strut mount too. Anyone confirm this? I use mine mostly on the center lines, but I have attached it to my kite bridle where it forms a 'V' if I want a particular point of view, but I wouldn't spend the whole afternoon with it attached. You can also attach t...

Re: Beastmount breakage, your opinions?

Is the ugo mount wider than the beast mount. I find the beast mount needs to be put up higher on my ozone bar which affects (narrows) the vee. Ie it raises the Y point of centres. What is the width of the Ugo at camera (low) end The U.Go low-end width is 4 inches wide where the lines enter and 5 1/...
