Re: Poll: Underpowered or Overpowered

I feel overpowered is when you can't LET RIP and go 100% speed, the wind will rip you off your edge and spank you.

Moderate power is when you can always hold the edge no matter how fast or crazy you are going.

Glued butt joint, but have three alignment holes with toothpicks. Printed vertically. Weight is about 900grams, ...

Vote with your money. Buy some old V2 Unions and keep riding them. Or just get a Bandit, they are great.

Re: DIY Trackmount into surfboard

Is this type of track system workable, is it a fiddle to get the foil on and off..... getting all those 4 bolts to line up each time not a big deal? Very easy. I use alan keys to tighten my bolts. First I push the nuts in the tracks to the ends of the tracks. One at the front and one at the rear in...

Re: Hydrofoil DIY from Argentina

nice work , any more feedback about how it handles? what would you do differently if you make another one? Not OP but I have built and ridden my own foil. If you can't foil (like me) then keep the front wing big and delta shaped. I foiled the top and flat bottom.... just to keep it simple. I vac ba...

New board - no straps

So I decided my first board, a 125cm twin tip converted to hydrofoil board, was too small and too hard to ride. I has no rocker so every time I nose down it burried and I fell off. This makes it really hard to learn. So the second board is also a twin tip, 150cm ish. I put 17cm of nose rocker in it ...

Re: dynamic differences with seat and waist harness

I prefer seat. I don't unhook.

I hate how with a waist harness the pull of the kite goes through your lower back into your legs then to the board. Switching to a seat harness gave my back a rest.
