Re: Mui Ne Vietnam in May

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a website to check out current conditions and/or forecasts for Mui Ne?

Mui Ne Vietnam in May

Hello everyone,

What is Mui Ne Vietnam like in May? Is it windy?

Thinking about flying over there in a weeks time, hoping there is going to be wind.

Thanks!

Also came from wakeboarding. Switched to boots as soon as I was able, love em behind the kite.

Definitely learn with straps tho.

Natai Beach, Thailand

Any kiteboarding here? Seems like it would be great during the wet season. Dont see anything on the net about it.

Re: Thinking of moving to Vancouver whats the wind like?

kiting is great in general, especially in the sumer. Unfortunately kiting usually involves a drive around here. From vancouver, squamish (the IT spot during the summer) is 1hr to 1 1/2hr away.

Re: Cabrinha Switchblade IDS 2009

(never flown or inspected a Cab kite upclose)

So wait, the valve that is used to inflate the kite needs a special adaptor and does not fit the standard nozzles that come with pumps? That seems rather... unnecessary.

God those kids have so much skill (if a little dangley). I wish I was rich enough to send them a crate of boots so they could rock out with serious style. Ah well, mad props anyways. :thumb:

EDIT: props to the PKRA for the podium babes :baby:

Re: Handlepasses and moving from hybrid/bow to C kite.

while im sure C kites have some characteristics that make is better for unhooked riding, saying that you need one for serious kiteboarding is kinda ignorant. Aaron Hadlow could win the pkra flying a garbage bag, let alone a bow/sle kite. In conclusion, keep your kites and save $$, use that cash to b...
