Re: 2013 Ozone Edge on snow...Video

No offense intended by calling it "crazy high". You all make it look easy and controlled. I know if I found myself looking down on the trees I would probably come unglued. I was watching Cale and Bob doing some low glides this weekend on grassy mountain and they are both looking confident and defini...

Re: 2013 Ozone Edge on snow...Video

Those low flights are just awesome. I have always been impressed by your other videos with the crazy high flights but I have never been interested in trying that myself. Those low flights look like something I would like to learn. Maybe it's time to road trip and hit you guys up for some low altitud...

Re: 2013 Frenzy... Our First Look at a Great Kite

Great review and photos. I'm stoked that everybody is loving the new kites. The reviews from my customers has been all positive as well. I still haven't had a session on the new kites yet. They are selling before I get the chance. I have another summit on the way so I am hopeful I get a session on i...

Re: Video: Eddy Lansink in 40 to 50 knots 25m Jumps

Awesome demonstration of skill and control. Nice work. There is a safety section on this forum. All you safety police should feel free to post your concerns in that section. Leave the kitesurfing section for people who want to see big jumps, big tricks and other dangerous behavior. Maybe consider ta...

Re: Mudloops, Kiting the Idaho Farmlands... Feedback please

That's a really fun video. Watched it twice and I don't miss the go pro footage at all. It reminds me of kiting in eastern Montana. No scene, just lots of wind, a few friends and a dog or two. I liked seeing some one else on a Xenon Infra as well. I love mine. Nice work and keep it coming. Tony www....

Re: How safe do you think gliding off big hills with a kite

Seriously Wayne, the gliding I have seen in your videos is most definitely high risk behavior. That kind of gliding looks fun but I am way to chicken for that madness. I understand many of you guys have paragliding backgrounds and that has to help with keeping it together way up high. I think I woul...

Re: RPM or C4 -- self launch and self land in water

I just put the kite on the water at the edge of the window and even if it won't fall onto the leading edge I just let it flag out on the safety, pull the kite to me on the one line and head to the beach. Then I just set the kite down, grab the bar and walk away from the kite and get the bar straight...

Re: RPM or C4 -- self launch and self land in water

I have been kiting solo with the C4s for a season now and they work very well for self lauching and landing. I have a shallow zone to work with so I use a drift launch method. I rig the kite on the beach and then roll my lines back up. I walk up wind in the water and unroll my lines as i go. When th...
