I relocated to Orlando from Kansas City in order to increase my kitesurfing season and wind availablity. I was able to relocate with my current company to pay all expenses. I can't wait for the fall wind to kick in in FL. I came here without knowing anyone but you can always meet people at your loca...

I just moved to Sanford. The closest place would be New Symerna Beach. South side of Ponce inlet. I just bought a Contra 12m.

We have been Kitesurfing for about 5 years in the KC area. The lakes around here are gusty but good. THere is a large group that surfs on Cheny, you may want to talk to them. Doug,
I just rode a Crossbow 12m on Smithville lake this Sat. It handeled the gusts like a dream. I was able to fully controll the gusts and lulls. I would recommend giving one of these a try. :thumb:

I know the wind is going to be bad around here. Do you know about the Wichita area or maybe Wilson?

We have been going to Smithville it is a great lake for some downwinders.

I may just go and hit the cable park this weekend.

We are looking for a place in the Midwest for wind this weekend. Does anyone know of a good forcast centralized around the KC area? 6 to 8 hours drive would be OK

Viper kites

Has anyone tried the Viper kites? Boa or Venom. They seem to have a good deal going on but I can't find many reviews on the quality and performance of the kites.

Jennx, If you can get the Kite back I am sure that Sean or I will buy it for that price. A kite that size will be great on Clinton lake.
