Re: Aluula 3 strut - Evo vs NVision vs Hypermodel

I only had one quick session on the 12m in ultra gusty conditions, plus I just had my hip replaced so no real jumping. It is heavier than the OR 3-strut 12m, but now I know why. Naish kept the Halkey-Roberts inflate valve, the high flow strut connections, and it has more scuff guards. 20240316_17040...

interesting review. Seems like the big sizes are not benefitting from Aluula yet, but the 8m looks amazing.
I don't speak/understand German. Can you post what the reveiw said that makes you write this about the big sizes?

Thanks,

Penta TX = Apex?

Is Duotone's Penta TX the same thing as Cabrinha's Apex with another name?

Kokatat. Still the best drysuit made.
Kokatat's are excellent, but the zipper location is a problem for anyone using a waist harness.

Re: Drysuit recomendation

Ocean Rodeo did sell their drysuit business to Mustang Survival, but they are still made by the same third-party factory in Asia. They are made to the same spec, with the same materials, at the same place, by the same people. For now, they all still have the Ocean Rodeo logo on them. In the future, ...

Re: Cabrinha overdrive broken depower mainline

Maybe consider replacing the trim line strap line (a spare should come with the bar) as it is looking a little "fuzzy" too. And even the grip is starting to come off the bar. Wow. That bar is getting beat.

Re: Ocean Rodeo Flite HL

The HL 12m Flite is good on hydrofoil, but there are better HL kites. It's still better than a dacron kite of a similar shape from another brand on the hydrofoil. The HL Roam is the best model from Ocean Rodeo for foiling. Regarding when it is pumping (high wind), the HL is also better than a dacron...

Re: Take Control with the new Cabrinha COS

I've used 5 times or so with other brands of kites. The seat belt style chicken loop clicks in really well. not a lot of force to click IN. The front line unspin feature works well too. it does take a minute extra to lay out the front lines as not only do they need to be untangled like normal, but t...

Re: The Flite A-Series: The New Boss of Big Air

I guess I'd say it this way. Rise = kiteloop power, yank off the water, average hang time. Flite = smooth lift, great hang time, average power in loops. The 14.5m (and 17m) Flite is still a 3-strut, lighter wind or big guy kite. sizes 12m and below are 5 strut, big air, big hang time kites. As a sid...
