VooDoo Kiteboarding just received a donation for the Event/Race.(E/R)...So now when the E/R is over, there will be trophy's and money given out to the four place's in the E/R..

Just a "Reminder"....The 2013 Open Ocean Event/Race is still a GO for March...So hopefully everyone will be getting their body's into Shape, and praying for strong steady winds in the meantime...We are still asking for volunteers to help in this Event/Race, so if you know of anyone who wants to help...

WOW ...We are just getting finished with all the clean up of the event/race this past Saturday...We all had a great time, and the wind was there for the taking, just like the winner was at 60 miles...Great Job Scott Barrett for 1st place...The conditions were the Best that anyone like me would have...

Don't wear any Metal objects.... Don't take a bath with any "fish oil" base stuff in it... Don't put a leash on your surfboard, since you will be going really fast downwind... and last but not least, Don't worry, there will be to many of Us out there having a Great time, for them to just pick on one...

We have come up with another idea about this Event/Race....It has been a concern on the "forums" that the winds might not be in favor for the Race...We think it will be, and here is why we believe this..We see that the "wind vector" is showing Side Shore, then turning to Side Onshore..It is not turn...

FYI...There will be a "Crew" of guys that will be coming down as the "Rescue Crew" for the Event/Race..These guys will not be Racing, but just bringing up the rear..They will have a set pace that they are shooting for, but it will not be a "All out Race"...They will be a few minutes behind the start...
