There is no 2,5hr drive possible in Mauritius, you will be driving into the sea after max 1,5hrs : )
Having said this, if you don't know the place and follow the non existant road signage you could drive for 10hrs and still not found your destination.

Done it way back and had a really hard time keeping a constant edge/staying upwind. The leg (calf and thigh) work was really tiring Done it on a mono water ski too and that was a blast. was using a bigger kite than I would normally and was getting some insane speeds. No hope of staying up wind thoug...
