Re: For Naish Torch 2012 owners - requested information

Covering that wind range with two kites will be difficult. You'll need to sacrifice something (or won't be comfortable riding at a certain wind range).

sacrifice the low end: 12m+8m
sacrifice the high end: 14m+9m
sacrifice the middle range: 14m+8m

Re: epic and truly unbelievable!

Somebody call his bluff and buys his torches. Then we'll know if he's for real.

Re: Best Kitesurf Magazine?

SBC is just ad copy straight from the companies into the pages of the magazine, they don't even ride the gear. Wrong. SBC test crew rides all the gear. They have a large test crew of all level and different style that test at least twice a year for a few weeks. Check the next issue of SBC and you'l...

Re: naish torch 2010 issues

For leash attachment, there are 3 options. The safest is to hook into the fifth line loop. The second is to hook into the tab that's coming off the chicken loop and linked to the depower line. It will act as a suicide leash but will depower the kite a large amount as well. The least safe but quickes...

Re: naish torch 2010 issues

Attach the back lines close to the trailing edge for quicker turning and less bar pressure.
Bring the attachment point towards the leading edge for better lightwind performance and more bar pressure.
It's the same principle for every kites out there.

Re: Naish 2010 bar vs Airush 2011 control bar - which is bet

You want to get a bar that switches to 4 to 5 line easily? If you are using it for a Torch only, I would not recommend flying it on four line. It won't fly as nice. You would loose performance.

Re: Nice car and kite equipment

Ideal solution is to get a cargo box and a roof rack. I put all my wet wetsuits, harness, pump and kiteboard/surfboard in it. I keep my kites in the trunk. Other trick is to a get a big travel bag and put it in the back of your car. I have a big dakine bag that can fit most of my gear. So when I tos...
