Re: Kevin Langeree leaving Naish...

What a nonsense.... Damien has developed a zillion kites, knows exactly where to source what and how important quality control is. As far as I know he's the original designer of the Pivot... briljant kite in my opinion. This is a kite I'd more than happily buy the version 1 of..

Cymatic (Tomo MPH) in kiteconstruction?

Looking for a new waveboard. The new Cymatic from FireWire looks a mighty interesting board to me, LFT is too week however. Great outline, straight enough for going upwind, nice round for turning. I’m wondering how to get a 5.2 in kiteconstruction

Re: Len10 - Captain Carbon

All of his best work was done around 2009-2013. Just before he jumped ship to Best. Nothing truly mind blowing since then on the water, of course his recovery from cancer is both impressive and an upbeat relief. He's an icon for sure, but echoing the post about how nothing has changed in the last d...

Re: Pivot Unbaised Review. Good Kite For Surf?

Disagree on Bartolo Own Pivot 5 and 8. I ride waves mainly and only above 45 knots strapped and that said the last time even strapless in those (gusty) conditions. The Pivot hardly ever pulls me of my board and if so it was mostly my own mistake. I ride it because of its versatility, it drifts more ...

Re: Best hurricane ultra high wind 40 plus knot kite

4-5 meter kites with a rock solid frame and canopy. I own a Pivot 5m, ride it quite often. Last time out the wind was somewhere between 40 and 50 knots. It still holds well, however I think a Rebel 5m would do even better. 5 struts will give a more solid frame and albeit well designed (which is the ...

Re: 2018 Naish kites

So, I owned quite some Naish kites, recently Pivots (first version) 5 and 8. Never ever had any problems with the Octopus system, in fact I love it, super easy and no External shit that can break...

Re: North Rebel Evo or Naish Pivot

Very impressive is the versatility and range on the Pivot. It is a very nice jumper as well as a good drifter in the waves. The lowend is truly one of the best i've ever had.
