Why can't they just do what Prince did? Just call themselves "The kite company formally know as North" little long but it should keep the lawyers away.

Re: Pryde CR X

Excellent, many thanks. So it'd seem as though it's not going to stunt my development as a board to learn on, but if I progress then I might want to trade up for something else. that's ok by me.

Pryde CR X

I am teetering on the verge of trying to foil. I’ve kited for close to 10 years so feel comfortable to at least try it out. From what I know/have observed, there seems to be quite a difference in gear available and some people progress quickly wheras others struggle and I have to think getting the r...

Re: board sport risk comparison

I had to take Couimadin (sp) for a year...... luckily I was able to stop. The Doc spent a lot of time getting my level (INR I think it was called) right, at first I was tested daily, once they had me stabalised it was every 30 days. If I understood it correctly the problem with this drug is that in ...

Re: Naish below the line depower with Ride Kite 12m

If you are yanking the depower with both hands then it suggests the friction on the cleat may be excessive, or perhaps the depower rope is worn and is overly stuck in the cleat, you might look at replacing the depower rope. The pull technique needs to be with the rope flat to the cleat, not up and o...

Re: Naish below the line depower with Ride Kite 12m

If you have the presence of mind to simultaneously push the bar away from you, and slightly release the edge pressure at the same time you make the trim adjustment then the momentarily reduced load on the front lines may make your task easier. If you are still learning however it'll be tough, good l...

Question for Best TS owners

I'm looking at buying a NOS Best TS 2014-5 , it's a 4 line low Y setup but I cannot determine wether the mini 5th flags to one or both of the front lines. I'd want to use an low Y, single front line setup for the kite. Can some one who owns one of these kites please enlighten me. Many Thanks .

Re: Controller 3 Switch bar

I have a Controller 3, It is well priced, its basic function is ok, the lines are of good quality. It is however a heavy setup and some people have had issues with the way the bar flags out ....... suggest you take a good look at the switch forum threads on that particular bar. I haven't used any ot...
