Re: 3rd part bladders for a Wainman Punch 10.5 RAF

I had the same issues with a Smoke 9 leading edge and a Mr Green 7.5 strut. The valves are the weak points of these kites. I opted for replacing the LE valve with a new one (about 12€ in Ebay). As for the strut valve, I could easily fix it with Patex glue. After some sessions on it they are doing g...

For sale: Element v6 12m (kite only)- Spain

Hi there, I am selling my Element v6 12m. Only kite and a light bag. It was bought on June '18 and I used it less than 10 days (I have a 4 kite quiver). Kite in mint condition, no repairs or pinholes. I am selling it because I want to get into hydrofoiling and a 10 or 12 Helium will be a better opti...

Re: Any paragliding pilots around here?

I finally did a powered paragliding course and after some months I have some flight hours. Still a total newbie. First things first... I wouldn't consider paragliding as a sport. The learning curve is VERY steep, much more than kiting. Once you can properly control the wing on the land (and take som...

Re: Fatality in Spain

Kiting accidents have something in common with aviation crashes. Just an accumulation of errors.

Fatality in Spain

Sad news. A kiter died in Illa de Arousa (Galicia, Spain) on September 25th. Here's a link to a local newspaper https://www.farodevigo.es/portada-arousa/2018/09/25/concejal-catoira-muere-estrellarse-mar/1967616.html pics https://www.farodevigo.es/multimedia/fotos/galicia/2018-09-24-138018-muere-conc...

A15 or Aurora II?

Hi all, I'm considering acquiring a Pansh kite for increasing my kiting days. I am hesitating between the Aurora II or the A15EM. Maybe you can help me choosing the right model. I weigh 72 kg and mainly ride a surfboard and TT, but considering an HF soon. I don't need to kite in 7 knots days. If I c...

Re: Tarifa September - kite size

Levante (E): expect winds from 20 to 50 knots.
Poniente (W): 10 to 25 knots.

Chances are 50-50

If there is a nucking Levante (+40 kt) you can drive to Caños de Meca (60 km north) or Getares (20 km east). There can be a difference of 15 knots or more.

Re: Switch Lineup

Since you mentioned the kite has been hardly used and is very new, getting replacement bladders isn't that good of a deal to me. If the kite is pretty new (less than a year), I'd want a shipping label to send the kite back for repair at no cost out of my pocket. On the few occasions I've dealt with...
