Re: A little motor on the foil-board for swimming in/out

Another question how shinfins work with straps and don they impact ability to put a foot into a strap? Also, that mesh bag. What is the link to buy it? Looks useful I hope to get some time this weekend to complete and will post. I did some testing so far with webbing and buckles and discovered that...

Re: A little motor on the foil-board for swimming in/out

Did u finish your mod? Can you post how it looks after modification? https://shinfin.com/ I actually have some, but only recently realized they would be good for this purpose since they are so light. The primary problem with them is that the rubber straps are very difficult to tighten and adjust, an...

Re: A little motor on the foil-board for swimming in/out

Yes plummet, for riding. Motor is powerful. Battery big.
It will be expensive. Here we are talking about a tiny
Emergency assist. Rather than powerful jet allowing
Riding without a kite.

Re: A little motor on the foil-board for swimming in/out

Very interesting idea mate indeed. But, how do you use them when swimming with a foil. Don't you frog-kick when swimming in? The guy on the site says: "(Some customers use them for breaststroke or “frog-kick” but I didn’t specifically design them for this.) They encourage kicking from your hips with...

A little motor on the foil-board for swimming in/out

Hi all, Recently, during one of swimming-in self-rescue exercises, while laying on my board and repeatedly and endlessly kicking with my feet to get back to the shore, I caught myself thinking: "Why can't I have a small/tiny electrical motor built into my board at the back of it to help me with swim...

Re: Secondary mast choice: 70cm vs 41cm

What kind of conditions did you ride it in?
Is it possible to ride in a small size ocean swell (1-2 foot ) ?
