Re: R1 vs Chrono

You are asking about the original chrono and the r1 V1 right? Not the current models R1 has more power, go faster, go higher upwind and has better water relaunch. Chrono turns faster, launch easier and land easier. I thought the r1v1 had problems with relaunch? I've seen them bowtie pretty easily I'...

13mm is pretty much the standard now on Alu Masts.
Oh, for some reason I thought they were thicker. What is the thickness of a carbon race foil strut?

Re: Bullet by Zeeko - the fastest alloy hydrofoil

I'm curious about the market for people who want a race ready aluminum foil vs either more expensive full carbon new foils or older used carbon race foils that would be cheaper than a new aluminum foil. Granted 35/38 kts is pretty fast! Yeah, that is a strange market to go after. Is it actually for...

It's no secret Enata is owned by Maxime Nocher's family.
Ahh, I didn't know that.

It seems like Maxime hasn't been competing in any of the major events all summer. Is he injured?

Re: Enata?

I saw that Enata is Dubai based. This website for one of their other projects (41' foiling motor yacht) seems to say they are a Swiss engineering company: https://foiler.com/en/home#Enata I have seen a lot of their videos were in Dubai though. I don't want to speak out of turn, but I know a couple ...

Re: Enata?

Yeah, seems pretty clear that the current IKA rules aren't working to provide racing on widely available production equipment. I though that was the whole point. At least the ML foils are available now if you're willing wait several months. I kinda understand Mikeslab. Every time he enters a space, ...

Enata?

Are Enata hydrofoils and kites going to be available soon? What's the point of sponsoring multiple top riders for over a year, but not making the product available? It seems that the main point of the IKA rules is to allow everyone to be on widely available production equipment. They don't even have...

Re: jibing stability

I think it depends on whether you are talking about jibing to toeside or switching your feet. In both cases I think the slower your foil can go the easier things are. My new Delta race foil is WAY more pitch stable than my spotz2 was. This makes switching feet in a race style jibe much much easier. ...

Re: Mazella Holds Nerve to Clinch Victory in Tense Final Races

What's the deal with Enata? This is the second year that they have been sponsoring top riders, but it doesn't seem like you can buy their foil or kites anywhere??? What's the point? I know they took over the Banga design. It seemed nearly impossible to find a Banga also, and then there was a post fr...
