Re: What comes next for kiting?

The only way to compete here is to create products that last, and are at a price point well within reach of the consumer market. IE: Kites shouldn't cost $1700 when they only cost $300 to manufacture. Lower prices are coming, but you have to demand it :) I'm sure the business is waiting for smart g...

Re: Pre-Worlds light air testing with Damo and Kent

I tend to agree with PMU regarding the minimum ride-able wind speed. Practical conditions are not a steady 7-8 knots on oil flat water. Normally you would have de-rating parameters like some waves, on-shore wind, wind holes because of buildings, bridges and other obstacles, not to mention lulls tha...

Re: Near fatal accident at sandbanks, poole

Launching any kite in the wind window in 30 knots is very dangerous , that's all .

Best wishes to the unfortunate kiter .

Re: Foils and Racing

My psycho4 does it well also, but I know they are foils apart . In fact, you can't find their turning abilities in any other foil kite . They also do it well from low at the edge of the window and up to it when it's light or in the surf, that's what I reaaally love , also due to their ability...

Re: Foils and Racing

Most important thing about kiting is not only performance, you must also find pleasure to fly (under) your kite and at this moment you have several options, foil is one of them . Another thing is before and after kiting , and one will prefer one kite or another for (un)packing, durability, travellin...

Tubeless Style
