Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

How about we try a simple exercise, let's pronounce aloud the following kite models: Core GTS Slingshot RPM Ozone Enduro Cabrinha FX (Can't believe I've learned to spell that one more or less right) Liquid Force NV Naish Torch F-One Bandit Duotone Rebel Now - which of these sounds like pig's vomit? ...

Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

With all the money they saved by not paying for the "North" brand name - they couldn't hire a decent branding consultant to come up with a sound name. "North" was a strong, juicy word with meaning and context behind it - in light of which one can't help but wonder - where the hell a blunt and awkwar...

Make sure to try them before ordering. They are made for narrower faces.

Re: Is Wakestyle dead?

Interesting. So let's summarize: If you want to consider yourself an ELITE rider - you have to forget about what you really like doing and only concentrate on the most difficult discipline in kiteboarding - the wake-"style". Only reason being - it is very difficult - that's why it's da sh@t! Oddly e...

Re: Is Wakestyle dead?

Wakestyle isn't dead, it's just difficult. Surfboards, foils and such are a nice break from working on your wakestyle moves. Don't worry people will go back to wakestyle. edt has it right. It’s the most difficult branch of the sport. Most people don’t have the time to progress in it, and the vast m...

Re: Naish Repair Hack

Thanks for the tip.

I still think that we should just boycott the buggers until they start using a normal inflate system. After missing out on kites sales for a few seasons - they will surely realize a thing or two.

Re: F One Trax Hard Light tech

I haven't ridden a Jaime, but Trax is a fairly stiff board - even though it's a very smooth-riding board size for size - there are other models out there that are a lot easier on your knees.

Re: F One Trax Hard Light tech

Hi guys I am about to buy the fone Trax HRD 136 x 40.5 or the 1.37 x 42. I am 71kg i have been ridden a Jaime pro until now and I would like to switch into a new board. Has anyone ridden the 1.36 or the 1.37? I know my weight is for the smaller one but I am worried a bit, because I have had a knee ...

SB is a mega-loop monster, rides unhooked, and is serviceable in the surf
Have you just said that Cabrinha design team is a bunch of morons and they've been nothing but waisting their time with FX for nothing while the SB is doing the exact same thing? :thumb: Nice sales pitch!

Re: 2018 Cabrinha Switchblade 10m Issue’s

... cause even after 16 years of kiting, the feel and flow of the SB puts a smile on my kiting heart everytime. Judging by your nickname, after 16 years of riding nothing but Cabs - you really need to get out of your bubble and try other stuff - just for the sake of it... At the very lea...
