Re: Check your slingshot comp stick ?

I have a really well used comp stick. just checked mine and yeah, the wire is bent a bit, but no sign of cracking or weakening. I'm more concerned about the wire on the fixed side of the loop - it's bent a little too BUT unless I completly dismantle, I can't see what condition it's really in. There ...

Re: Ozone C4? What do you think?

+1 for the C4 - absolute gem of a kite. The feeling is very direct and it's very responsive. very sweet for unhooked Has plenty of spank if you want to push it and rides waves ok too! If you've only flown bow style kites then it will be a bit different in the feel and the way you fly her. Light wind...

Re: Can I use a 2010 Slingshot Fuel bar for older "C" kites?

Only way to find out is try it out on a light wind day. I used my fuel bar on a 2005 takoon c and it works great with no triming, but first time I tried it in low wind like 12 knots encased it went tits up! You can usually tell just b4 launch when someone is holding the kite and you about to drive i...

Re: I moved to England to live

Jose...

best place to get a good combination of work and learn english would be London - but it's pretty far from any decent kitesurf spots. 40 - 60 to the coast
depends what you're looking for really!!

Re: Chambered Balsa Core Surfboard UK

spent some time looking myself, but the UK sucks for balsa or Pawlonia.

Only suggestion is to try small aircraft building companies as some of them use balsa for wing struts and they need large sections....

Re: Fin configuration on directionals

Wow :jump: :cool2: :thumb: So i finally got my board in the water and i'm blown away!!! Took most of the advice offered here and on sway locks and from Kevin Slater, so basically fins a tiny bit forward than normal and a little less toe in.. and man the board rocks!!! the extra rocker didn't really ...
