BTW A chord is a set of notes played together. A guitar string is a piece of wire.
Yeah, sorry, I was translating from French (corde).

For quick and easy splices learn the Brummel splice. Learn both types (fixed and loose end). For accurate splicing the simple bury and sew is best.
Can you make the Brummel splice with a guitar chord instead of the fid?

Re: Splicing kite lines for beginners

Has anyone used these? Either the threading needle or loop splicing needles? http://www.charkbait.com/cs/cshL_Daho.htm Should work fine. Bit expensive though for a 1-time job. I use cheap baiting needles. You can get them at the local fishing store for a dollar, or look on Aliexpress. Could you ple...

Splicing kite lines for beginners

Hello everyone. I started to get interested in splicing because this technique seems to me to have many applications in everyday life. Knowing how to do a spliced eye on a rope is practical! How many strands are on a typical kite line? I have an old set of Cabrinha lines at the cottage and would lik...

Re: Gojoe

kids buoy (that around the arm type) do the trick pretty well, specially if you find a orange or yellow one. And it is 10 times cheaper, and its really light. Only make sure that you find one that keeps sealed when inflated. Just attach it around the handle and go. In my experience, this does not w...

Desperately need help with my PIQ

Just bought an Apple Watch 4, hoping to connect it to my PIQ Robot. Although the robot synchs to my iPhone, it does not to my Apple watch. I emailed PIQ customer support many times but they don't help. They answered once, telling me to uninstall and reinstall the app (which I did) but since then, no...

North PIQ app, even without the PIQ can be used to track your session via the watch gps.
Hi, it's unclear how you would do that. I have an Apple Watch 4 and a Piq.
I would have to look at the PIQ app on my iPhone after a session?

Re: Protection for eyes?

I love my Julbo Wave sunglasses. Photochromatic (it gets darker when it's sunnier) and never gets fogged up.
Stay on even on crashes (which I'm expert with).
