Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

Hi Guys, I just came off the water from my first session with my new V9 10m. Gusty, offshore winds from 15-25 Knots. Using my 132 Axis Limited Twin Tip. First thing I noticed is that the profile is a lot more stable in this type of conditions. There was noticeably less flapping when depowered in gus...

Re: Can't slow down

I'm a long-time kiter but beginner on the foil. Had my 4th session today and I'm starting to go long stretches up on the foil, but only in straight lines and still crashing a lot. So here's a beginner question. How do you check your speed, or slow down when you feel like it's getting going too fast...

Re: First session - horrendous

You're bumming me out, I just received my new toy yesterday. Did watch tutorials and start as suggested? Did you start with a short mast? Did have the mast all the way back if possible? I plan on taking my time in waist deep (24"mast) water and onshore walk out conditions. Hopefully I will have les...

Re: Ozone speed system adjustment

Use the pigtail length on your C as a starting point. If it's still tucking, then extend it a bit more.

Re: Post your polar and VMG

Well you have to take the conditions into account. It was very choppy and as we where filming for the review, I was spending more time doing tacks, gybes and jumps. The upwind VMG is still around 16.5to 17 knots range which is pretty much where my Banga VMG was that I posted, that is pretty good con...

Re: Moses Fluente whistling

Carefully sand the trailing edge with 320 grit and a hard flat block. You only want to flatten off the sharp edge of the trailing edges. It only needs one or two passes. DO NOT GO OVERBOARD AND SAND TOO MUCH.
