Re: tacking pigeon toed position

Hi, You are probably not carving far enough around before switching your feet. The operative word here is "switching" you do not want to be in "pigeon" stance foe more than half a second. Also you should begin switching your feet before the board passes 90 deg into the wind. Also make sure that you ...

Re: Big wings

Is it predominantly for kiting or for sup/surfoil?

If its for Kiting then I would not go over 1600, as you will get problems with span with that much area and a short mast

Re: Big wings

Yes. The big wing will make learning pretty easy. We teach on the Takuma V100 at the moment with a 100% success rate. The only thing is that as you are making your own wings, is that it might not be tuned correctly and therefor might not be balanced, making the ride a bit unstable.

Re: Looping tips

Hi folks, so it's about time I started kite looping but a bit scared at the prospect! Every time I think I should go for it on the water I bottle it. What the easiest way to get the started, is it best to downloop and carve to toe or just loop and go downwind on the same tack? If it's the latter I ...

1600cm2 is pretty much where downwind SUP/Surf foil wings are at now, so you are on the right track.

Sure? I thought the large Go-Foil and Naish wings are 1250ish?
I am talking about the most recent foils, not production stuff that is about a year old.

Re: Hydro - Foil Prices

Just want to clear this up. I have ordered those china foils, and you know what, they are not made from Carbon. They are made like the Carafinos where back in the day. Fibreglass with a thin sightlayer of Carbon. Hence the super cheap price on those. They do work, but they are heavy, more flexible a...

The bar has red embossing and the leaders are red. It is pretty obvious.
