I compared two very similar bridled C kites recently. One with a pulley and one with no pulley. The one with the pulley had better low end and better top end. The canopy must have been designed to give more bottom end, because they knew the pulley would allow more depower on the top. pure c kites d...

Some brands are going in the right direction and removing pulleys from the kites.. Kites are more direct, faster, more efficent if they are tuned right. Are you kidding? More and more people are going back to Cs. Maybe Best cant make any good C, thats why they are talking that s--t. I personally ride Torch and more and more experienced riders are coming back to C.s. And only newcomers are too stupid to buy bows,, which are good only for riding back ...

Im 80kg and 10m Torch is my biggest kite with 133 Thorn. Start riding in 6-7m/s. My friend 85kg has only Torch 8m and he rides also in 6-7m/s with 131 cm Thorn. He has to sine more, but 8m is fast enough to get him going.

Torch is raw power, especially when kite gets overpowered. Loops with power and trajectory is different on c kite. If you want to feel the power, go with the Torch.
