The wings and fuselage look and feel like plastic, they look very tough. Hopefully someone has gotten one on the water
If it is the same kind of plastic as the Shinn foil, not good. You can bend the wings with your hand and it vibrates like crazy at anything but super slow speed.

Re: More and more riders on less and less spots?

Looks like it...but the more we are the stronger we are...we have to fight the bans of spots ! And once we are Olympic, we have better arguments! The more we are the more we have to share. There is only so much space so being "stronger" makes no difference. It only takes one inconsiderate kitesurfe...

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

The original question was to replace the bladders and get new ones without Octopus valves, not fixing them. But if you have the skills to modify originals by yourself then please read ahead - I will provide you how to with minimum costs, suggest you the products you will need and provide you DIY vs...

Re: F-One 2018

Thanks again for this information. Very helpful indeed & makes perfect sense that Mitu is of most use to the majority. I'm doing neither of the things the Slice & Signature offer, so seems that Mitu is the way ahead. Given I have a 5'8" Axis New Wave which eats up the chop where I sail, I'm wonderi...

Re: Bandit 11 2018 review yet anywhere?

Nissi beach Ayia Napa ? Nice white beaches , turquoise waters but no kitesurfing there. You would be lucky to find a place to lay a towel on the beach it is so crowded, let alone rig a kite, no wind anyway. You need to travel 30mn west to Softades (kite centres) or even better to Paramali beach 130k...

Re: F-One 2018

So, just got myself a 2018 Signature but I am also going to keep my 2017 Mitu and also had a go on the new 5'1 Slice of a friend. The slice has the flattest rocker line and the widest average width so no surprise is the fastest planning and best upwind. Perfect for cruising in lighter winds and of c...

Re: Bandit 11 2018 review yet anywhere?

Demo kites should be near us in a couple of weeks, pre orders beginning of October. It's true that last year it took them a long time to deliver kites after they were announced hope this year it's different but I am not holding my breath...

Re: F-One 2018

I really want a mitu. Have done since there release. Doesn't fill you with confidence in the durability of the board though hearing your comments of breakages. :-( Don't worry, 2017 Mitu's are excellent and have heard of 0 breakage till now. 2018 are supposed to be stronger and lighter. Avoid 2016 ...

Re: What is your wave quiver?

I believe the original poster was asking Quote: I wonder what you are using these days for kitesurfing in waves. Wave kites vs. all arounders? Smaller kites/bigger boards vs bigger kites/smaller boards. Tomo style shapes vs traditional high performance short boards. Strapless vs strapped. As so ofte...
