Big or small leading edge for a wave kite

I ride the drifter and my buddy the reo. The reo has a smaller LE compared to the drifter and I find the reo rides extremely weel, is super fast, predictable and excellent upwind ability. The drifter drift very well but so does the reo. My question: North just came out with the carve and it features...

What kite size to bring in Kauai, Hawaii in July?

I will be in Kauai in July and I'm debating bringing my 15m as I hear it is much lighter there than Maui. I have a 6m, 8m, 10m, 12m and 15m for my wife and I I'm hesitating between the 6 and the 15 as the weight is an issue in terms of luggage! I weigh 175 and ride a surf and a twin.
Thanks!

Re: Disrespectful French-Canadian's

Wow, I can't believe this post is 10 pages long!! To Sam: from one French Canadian to another, stop justifying yourself and just say that you are extremely thankful to Ty because he really saved your ass. It doesn't matter if you said it or not in the boat because it's in the past, say it now and le...

Re: Disrespectful French-Canadian's

OK, I'm planning a trip to Hatteras at the end of May. I wasn't sure anymore as I didn't want to be not welcome but Ty did explain he wasn't targeting all French Canadians :remybussi: It's not going to be an all inclusive vacation with private lessons, master chef and yoga sessions! I will be spendi...

Re: Disrespectful French-Canadian's

I am a French Canadian and I often travel to the OBX. I consider myself very respectful and grateful to whoever makes a difference in my life including kitesurfing. I have met many people from many countries and let me tell you that there are idiots in every nationality (including in Quebec). This g...

Re: Fresh from the Bahamas, 2015 Cabrinha Gear - Parts I & I

Excellent post, love the 10 years of SB video. I have been riding Cabrinha kites for 6 years and I don't see the day I will switch to another brand. I had over 30 Cabrinha kites and I never had any problems with any of them. Keep up with the amazing work! BTY I just ordered my 2015 SB and Contra and...

Re: Switchblade 12m 2013 or 2014 ?

I totally agree with bigwave, get the 2014 SB if you want to get the flying characteristics of your 2012 SB. I've been riding SB for 6 years and rode every version since then and the 2013 was not my favorite version at all. Not enough low end. The 2014 is, IMO, one of the best version of the SB. Tra...

Re: Richest Kitesurfer in the World

I've been kiting for 7 years with my beautiful wife and my wonderful son and daughter. Every single trip we've made was a kitesurfing trip. We are all healthy and I have a job that allows me to afford it all. I definitely consider myself very rich...... maybe not money wise but spiritually wealthy a...

Mario, I sent you a PM. Wondering where in Canada you found your LF Styler shorts.
Sharksco.com in Quebec.
