Re: Peter Lynn Introduces the Escape V6

Wanted to see how the Escape v6 looped in strong winds... had some pretty crazy conditions on this particular day. I decided to go to a small lagoon to soften the landings and throw some loops. Got quite sketchy as the wind just went ballistic. The guy filming on the beach was battling to stand so t...

Re: Peter Lynn Introduces the Escape V6

Had a 7m for a while, Not radically different from the Escape v5, little tweaks in the right places. Nice inflation valve upgrade, prefer it to the previous one. Fun kite to loop and handles a lot of wind! Noticed a cleaner canopy on those big loops, less fluttering. Need to get my hands on bigger s...

Re: Peter Lynn Introduces The Aero - Hydrofoil Race Kite

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PVNgzMzbCQ The Aero is not only for foiling! Was a bit affraid of the filling process in high-winds (gusts a bit over 40kn) after my experience with other 9m foilkites, but to my surpise the Aero 7m was completely filled before I could blink my eyes withouh pre-infat...

Re: Action cam tips

nice edit, you don't like to up the vibrancy/saturation and blue a bit more when editing the video? Actually I do sometimes tweak it, as you mentioned, especially on overcast days. But I do try and keep it natural, unless I'm going for a specific effect on the edit. Lately a lot of my footage are a...

Re: Action cam tips

This is my latest video with just a line mount and a mouth Mount. Had to go slow motion to be able to use most of the line mount stuff as otherwise it gets too bumpy.

Re: Action cam tips

Probably a stupid question, but how do you shoot still pictures while riding? Do you just edit them oyt of the film? Getting frames out of the video is not as good as taking pics. At 4k it gets better but the image crop (at least on the gopro 3+) is restrictive. Yeah, my best set up is "burst mode"...
