Tsunamis are caused by earthquakes, not wind and the sea there is pretty shallow, I don't see any reason for that big waves to build up

most normal tape has glue that comes undone eventually in the water so you end up with a sticky mess, it'd have to be similar stuff that the manufacturers use to be any good

I have the same problem and now I just let it be bare at some spots, the metal feels pretty good actually

yes perfectly, the only improvements for 2013 are a bit sturdier lines, and knots instead of swivel at the Y

that can happen in very light conditions, there's not enough pull for the line to go further without manually pushing it away, no need to take anything apart

the trim strap hasn't really changed the last 8 years, just get one from the 2013 or 2014 collection (I just did)
