My gut feeling would be that it would be a waste of a nice kite and I,m totally getting the flapping bit.

The X1 was sold as a beginner kite but works remarkably well really well powered up.

Removing struts to convert to single strut Kite.

So any views.I have an old Naish X1 9m kite in very nice condition. It has 5 struts and is still a very useable kite with little resale value.It is still good fun to use as it is. The question is would I be wasting my time or destroying a perfectly good kite by trying to remove 4 or 5 struts. Would ...

I take it the racers can jibe the Spotz 2,as otherwise I don't see how they could win many races.

I've been foiling a while starting off with a Moses Silente with Aruba Auruba board, changing last year to a Spotz 2 with Tamavento board.The change was for more performance which has been quickly fulfilled.I was managing to just about ride toe side on the Moses but not comfortabl...

Best height reached on a 9m Naish Pivot according to Woo

So putting it out there and for a bit of fun ,who's reaching dizzy heights on a Naish Pivot 9m.
Just out of interest what's your best height gain on this kite and in what conditions?

For what it's worth I asked Tautologies about the Pivot before buying and he was very helpful and informative.I'm pretty much stuck on Naish since buying the Naish AR 3.5 when they came out.I don't like all there product range but when they get it right they make some great kites and accessories
