Re: Patagonia vs RideEngine wetsuits

I've never tried a Patagonia, but I'm super happy with my Ride Engine 4/3. I wouldn't think it is quite as warm as the equivalent Patagonia, but in terms of comfort, the RE is absolutely the most cushy suit I've ever had on. Just out of professional interest, why do you think that an equivalent wou...

Re: Patagonia vs RideEngine wetsuits

Zero wool in Patagonia suits these days. It just takes on too much water and also gets stinky...

Re: pay to kite a spot in uk

We like to keep out the riff-raff at Hayling so access is means tested. We also have a drone with scissors on the front in case we need to clear out some space.

Re: Torn knee seam on O'Neil Epic 2 wetsuit

It's a warranty claim when the seam goes like that. We (O'Neill Wetsuits in Europe) can deal with it through the original retailer that you bought it from. Just get it back to them.
Cheers,
Joe

Re: Wetsuit for cold water/air

My questions: 1. Are all 5/4 wetsuits providing same comfort temperature? If not, what type should I look for? 2. What type of hood is best for my case? 3. Does gloves add enough warmth to consider them for surfing? 4. Is there a big difference between 6/5/4 wetsuit and 5/4? 5. Is plush inside wets...

Re: Boots for kiting

+1 for LF. I have Vantages as Velcro closures make the world a better place. Took a couple of rides to get used to the feel after having soft Ronix Franks disintegrate on me, but wouldn't go back now...

Re: Ronix shite

Mine fell apart too, plus the centre part of the plastic lacing cinches always fell out, got lost and had to be replaced a few times.

Happy with my switch to Liquid Force Vantages...

Re: Patagonia wetsuits

Seams failing is a warranty issue and the retailer that you bought it from will arrange a replacement for you if it was less than a year ago. We (O'Neill Wetsuits Europe) had a small bad batch of the silicone-based urethane seam weld and the suits are being replaced as we get them back, but we do ne...
