Re: Kite control during big boosted jump

Just to add a bit. Boosted fronts for me were easier with a tail grab at first. I think it smoothed out the rotation by bringing the body in a more straight line if that makes sense. Also no need to remeber which side of the bar to pull. I really can land boosted front with speed UNLESS i do a downl...

Re: How many sessions does this kite have

What does the kite look like? Is it in ok condition? Ive sold really good kites on ebay for a fraction of what they are worth. Ive sold beat up old kites with the desriptions stating that. I had a guy complain about a kite that was a steal at the price it sold at. I just wanted it out of my garage. ...

Re: Windy spots in Cali?

Southern california isnt exactly a kiting destination. Belmont shore is definitely not where you want to go. The wind is on the lighter side and its just your standard lake style chop. Dont get me wrong. We get our days out here but in the couple years Ive lived here im not impressed. North of here ...

Re: Help switching Feet on Surfboard Before I Turn.

I think everybody jibes a little different. The one thing that made the most difference when I was learning was to not look down. I bet i would sctew it up today if i was looking at my feet. It should just come to you the more you practice. As far as your size... that is a big board. Should be fine ...

Re: Kitesurfing Las Vegas!

I love when I see this topic come up. The kiting at that lake is hands down the best I've found. The epic walks, burnt/cut feet, devil wind, and the "other" locals are just some of the costs of doing business out there.

Glad your getting some this summer Bill. Tell the peeps I say hi

Re: What are "heli-loops"?

you can really do them on any size kite. I tripped out in the past on friends that ride big octanes (16's and 14's) in alot of wind and they could get those big kites to loop so tight and fast. I fly fuels and you would be surprised how mellow they can be with this type of loop. It will really help ...

Re: Kiteboard size

Still no replies huh?? Maybe more info needed....? I would have to say at your level the other board is going to make very little difference if any at all since you still don't know how to kite. Maybe it would be better to learn with what you got and then spend your money on what you know you want a...

Re: What´s has the better relaunch.... Fuel x Torch?

I have both fuels and torches. Kinda perfer the torch. As far as the kite flipping, I put these on the 5th line so the kite sits on it back on the fifth but the tips are still just slighty bent and the kite has never done it again http://www.bestdealer.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15...
