Poacher & Purdyd, where did you guys order your Gen3s from? Mystic site still says "Coming Soon" with no way to order.

Re: Naish 2021

Thanks so much for the detailed review, Skip. Exactly what I was looking for as I'm in the market for a 12 and it's probably going to be a Pivot or Reach. I've avoided the big Pivots before because of the truck-like pull and happy to hear it's much improved this year. Odd that you found the 11m didn...

Re: Pivot 7m or 8m sizing advive

I’ve got 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 Pivots (like to be perfectly powered) For me, the 9 is the best one. Not sure if this is Naish’s reference size, but it’s just perfectly tuned. Anyone try S26 Pivot 12m?

Interested to know if the tweaks Naish made to the big Pivots made a big difference this year. I've pretty much hated every 12m I've owned and would really love it if they actually made this one feel light and agile, but still powerful. Anyone try one yet?

thanks

How certain are we that the wind had gusts up to 30 knots?

Not sure if we should take that for granted.
Yeah, he's mistaken. I live at DE beaches and it hasn't blown 25 here in months.

I had a look today, Obsbot looks nice!
But only up to 40 m I read...and since it doesn’t work with a tack to follow you I assume it would loose me when I go upwind.

I wrote to them, let’s see if they reply...
Toby, did you ever get an answer from Obsbot about tracking a kiter?

Re: Kitemare warning about crossed lines!

This incident has made me think that if kite bars had a very small bump or two at the spot your fingers touch on just the red side of the bar this sort of incident would be much less likely. Basically something like they key finder bumps on the F and J key of a keyboard giving you tactile feedback ...
