Re: failure of the qr while in death loop

Pretty sure the SS bar was one the last to switch over their chickenloop QR design to prevent this exact blatant problem. I'm the last person to usually lay blame on manufactures of product but, year after year they ignored updating this serious safety flaw in their design. This version is dangerou...

Re: R1V2 wing sides collapsing

Had the exact same issue on my R1v1 when I was first learning to fly it. As other said, pull the rear lines with some force or shake the bar hard left and right.

Re: Ozone R1 V1 problems

I checked the ABC and there was 30mm between them , which seemed odd on a brand new kite. I have a 17m R1v1 I bought new with the exact same issue. It barely has any hours on it and the lines are not equal. I thought that was a bit strange. I can now get it to fly in fairly light winds but it's not...

Pansh Aeolus?

Who's going to be first to try this? High AR, plenty of cells. The pix look a bit weird with its shape.

Re: Slingshot Bar trim

Slingshot bars do not have adjustment knots under the floats. I asked Slingshot about it and they recommended added extra pigtails to even out the lines if you have stretch.

Re: The Truth behind Naish Warranties

:thumb: to the shop for posting pix! There's obvious damage that could not have been caused by a defect from the factory; the small cut/hole ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE where the bladder didn't come out during the explosion. How did that happen? I'm personally not a fan of Naish because of my windsurfing g...

Re: Dyneema Carbon - new exciting material for kiteboarding!

Aren't all carbon structures like bicycle frames, foils, kiteboards, whatever done in multiple layers? Maybe making the whole structure with dyneema carbon wouldn't be the best idea because it wouldn't be as stiff but making just the top layer could be beneficial. I wouldn't mind having my carbon mo...
