Re: Best bankrupt?

Are the Cabos still around or did that design go with the other brand?

Re: Yes !

It is so fun foiling with a big wing , if you are not into racing and going super fast and would rather go slow, controlled and have a surfy type experience try a large surf / SUP wing like the Slingshot H4. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I couldn't agree more! That "surfy" feel is SO AWESOME!

Re: Foil with big wing

I'm using the Iwa with the Dwarfcraft 54" now. Removed the back strap so I could be more forward and not get as much lift. I find the Iwa to be as, if not more, playful than the Takuma v100 clone. The Iwa glides and pumps much better. Love this setup, though I haven't tried it in anything over knee ...

Re: how long is too long?!

Just curious, are you using FS Peak3 on the water, if so what size and how is it please? Same question...and specifically please let us know how you feel about upwind performance of a peak 3...and if possible could you please give an example of other kites with similar upwind performance rather tha...

Re: how long is too long?!

I've tried up to 33m in ligh winds with thicker lines on 11m tube. I prefer 30m with race lines and 65cm bar in similar conditions. I didn't feel a huge difference in 30 to 33m in speed or power. In really light winds the margin is very small and it depends on how "light" you're referring to. What I...

Re: Atlanta kiting

Check https://windsportatlanta.com/ Their club windsurfs on Lake Lanier and they have a Kiting section on their forums. They used to be "windsurfatlanta.org" but I guess they let the kiters in now too. :D

Re: The Monjet Ninox

Thicker LE stiffeners = heavier, carbon fiber = break, kit twits dimension= better. I was wondering if adding some weight would speed the Peak3 12m? Don't think it would fly in as light of wind then. Was also thinking of trying to make an inflatable tube where the LE stiffners are without any dacro...

Re: The Monjet Ninox

Hi @BOEMIX Do you own a Peak? Which size? Do you tried it once for foiling? Can you compare it with one of your other kites in meaning of power. I would accept, that it is not relaunchable. Where is the problem? In very low wind I very seldom throw the kite in the water. And if it happens, you wind...
