Re: The Truth behind Naish Warranties

:thumb: to the shop for posting pix! There's obvious damage that could not have been caused by a defect from the factory; the small cut/hole ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE where the bladder didn't come out during the explosion. How did that happen? I'm personally not a fan of Naish because of my windsurfing g...

Re: Dyneema Carbon - new exciting material for kiteboarding!

Aren't all carbon structures like bicycle frames, foils, kiteboards, whatever done in multiple layers? Maybe making the whole structure with dyneema carbon wouldn't be the best idea because it wouldn't be as stiff but making just the top layer could be beneficial. I wouldn't mind having my carbon mo...

Re: Slingshot Hoverglide Top Plate Spacing

Why not add the holes to the LF plate? If the HG can survive with 4 extra holes, why not? The aluminum fuse is easy to find, its just something like 31mm across face hex rod. IIRC it was like $30 a meter. Mill the top flatter, drill and sink some holes, flattem the tips and you're good to go. My fi...

Re: Slingshot Hoverglide Top Plate Spacing

Actually I'm interested in bolting the LF foil to the Spleene SurfDoor which has 90 x 120 holes. The Slingshot base plate has eight holes and Slingshot replied that it was 90 x 165 but they didn't mention the measurements for the inside holes. I was just thinking that instead of making a mount plate...
