Re: Naish 2015 Fusion Control Systems

Yeah the 2015/16 bar had some quirks for sure......That external single flagging line was a bad and unsafe design. It could easily get wrapped around anything and stop your kite from flagging. Basically what Shred just said. The other annoying thing was if you did deploy, when the bar shot up to the...

Re: Quikfin - tool free fin system

Yeah my NHP Carbon came with two sets of fins as well. I never used the small set as we next to never have butter conditions to ride in.......always heavy chop. So swapping fins for conditions wasn't the priority it's purely for ease of travel. I take 3-4 kite trips a year and dealing with the fins ...

Quikfin - tool free fin system

Just thought I'd post a short review of the Quikfin system I bought a couple weeks ago. I saw this item pop up here on KF a few years ago but they were planning on going OEM with board manufacturers. After a few years of FB creeping, I found out they're selling individually. So I popped for a set. D...

Re: Car damaged by kiteboarder - any lawyers on here to answer my Q?

I'd try again with your insurance, possibly home owners. Let me explain: I lost a kite out on Lake Superior and under my home owner's insurance they filed it as "wind peril to personal property". A few hundred dollar deductible and I had a new kite within 2 weeks. I know this isn't exactly the same ...

Re: Need suggestions for new harness

I saw Mystic now has the Clicker bar 4.0 on most models. Anyone know the main difference between that and the 3.0? I've also heard of "surprise" openings of the older Clicker systems while riding. That's not acceptable, or safe.... So hoping the 4.0 has the bugs worked out. I do see (as mentioned) t...

I wonder if NJ's rig is all bone stock Cab stuff?

I would hope his lines are at least beefed up or modified for doing such nutty stunts....

Re: Are we all jacking up our necks???

La Ventana in spring.... and your surprised? Crashes are one thing, but ergonomics are another. Kiting is no different than cycling or skiing or any other weekend warrior sport favored by middle aged people. I would say that at least half the general kiteboarding population are less than fit, and d...
