Re: SmartWatch research questions

Hi, Thanks for feedback. This is actually a side project, might not lead anywhere. depends on feedback. Actually- asking for feedback here is an experiment in itself. appreciate any feedback on wishes and needs. poacher- can you expand on your desire to "call for help if neccessary" ? Yeah no probl...

Re: Cabrinha Trimlite OD bar 2017 and Naish Pivot 2017 Kite

Pivots are punchy for their size. No reference for the Park, but compared to many other kites I've owned or flown. Trimlite bar does seem to have a small amount of trim range. I know the Naish BTB bar has a really big adjustment but it's below the bar and some people don't like it. I actually think ...

Re: SmartWatch research questions

Tom, You're an engineer for Sony correct? I'm in the market for a smart watch and would love to give some feedback. Looked at the new Samsung galaxy but was really disappointed by having to use Samsung's smart watch apps and not android. The lte is only for t-mobile at present too. Deal breaker for ...

Re: 2019 Duotone Click Bar

Yeah overall I am very happy with my '17 Click bar. Just my lines really stretched out a ton to the point were I swapped pigtails a few times and had to calibrate my bar frequently. It was enough stretch that my bar would be canted heavily one way to correct for the unequal line lengths. I'm no pro ...

Re: 2019 Duotone Click Bar

The Click Bar stands strong as the only bar on the market that trims via the back line, not the front. Psssst ... have a word with Ocean Rideo about the above claim. Haha was thinking the same...once you started claiming the "best" bar why not spec up the lines while you are at it, quality wise you...

Re: Impact Vest's Shocking Statement

Not too shocking, considering everything these days comes with a disclaimer. I thought it was going to say something offensive like "I'm not an impact vest, but clearly you already have enough padding built in....." Or "SIZE XXXXL.....just go lay on the couch." OR "Back hair?..........GROSS" Impact ...

Re: Obx access

OBX already got a bigger Bonner bridge (who knows why) We talked to an engineer a few years ago when they were doing the test boring in front of Pappy Lane. He said Bonner Bridge (like many bridges in the US) was about 20 years overdue for being completely redone. He stated it failed inspections to...

Re: GoPro Hero 7 coming soon....

Thanks for posting that windsuks. Casey Neistat's reviews are usually pretty honest and straightforward. I actually pulled the trigger last night on a Hero 7 Black. After watching Casey's review, DC Rainmaker's and Mic Begisma's all very positive review I thought I'd gamble on one. The other nice th...

Re: GoPro Hero 7 coming soon....

Good call on the Rylo. Forgot to mention them. If the GP7 doesn't make good on the "gimbal like stabilization" I'm going to look closer at the Rylo. (there's still some quirks to the Rylo.....the editing interface on your phone/device kind of sucks) I hate to beat the dead horse on the stabilization...

GoPro Hero 7 coming soon....

So does anyone care at this point?............lol Well I sort of do. GP has had about 3 years to figure out image stabilization since the new players in the field (Revl Arc, Sony and Garmin) have made strides in the tech and are eating market share in the process. The rumor for the Hero 7 is "gimbal...
