Re: Drone recommendations

I bought a Mini 4 Pro with the Fly More package and RC2 remote. I've used it in Hatteras, Turks and Cayman for kiting in winds up to 25kts. It works fine for higher winds in Sport mode. The battery life (the Flight Plus) gives me an easy 30 min. of video on one battery even in higher winds and Spor...

Re: Drone recommendations

Yeah, that is the combo I'm looking at. Factoring in the price as well as the size, I'm all for the Mini 4 pro. But the higher weight of the Air 3 should make it a bit more sturdy and also stable. Do you have the Care 2 years insurance as well? Have you tried the goggles? How is the RC2 remote in v...

Re: North Orbit Ultra

Sounds great! Put it on an Orbit (Ultra?) and let'r rip.
My last quiver was of Orbits and they were great kites. I can't imagine them faster, lighter, better. I'd gladly give them another go.

Re: North Orbit Ultra

What's to understand about N-weave? It's not even on their "PRO" kite...

You don't see the irony in the esteemed high tec "sailing" company that's the only big name left still only making Dacron kites?

Re: North Orbit Ultra

Hmmm... Orbit Ultra = Aluula? Code Zero Pro = Strutless? North will never use aluula - at least I'm pretty sure. Since North Kiteboarding and North sails merged I don't expect them to use anything out of the factory..... A friend of mine saw Marc J testing a north aluula prototype at Hermanus in De...

Re: ‘Neo-B’ New Generation Kite Pump

Smeagle is right on the small leak in the hose or adapter. I ended up using Aquaseal to permanently connect the Duotone proprietary valve adapter to my Mystic hose. (typical bayonet type connection) There was a tiny bit of air leaking from the Duotone adapter to my hose. (NOT the Duotone adapter to ...

In case that response was aimed at my post. This is from Kiteboarding.com to prove my claim.

Re: What's Up With Naish?

I don't blame them or other companies going to refined or curated selections. I think the amount of overlap on many of these kite models is ridiculous. Sure having choice is great but having too many is a chore for retailers. Take Duotone for instance - there's 5 different Evos on their website! (ba...
