Re: Wetsuit Dryer?!

Hang it in a small room with a dehumidifier running. It will be bone dry in a few hours.
btw this works great for your harness, boots/mitts/hood and kites.

You'll be amazed how much water they pull out of everything.

Re: Ride Engine 2018 Harnesses

Yeah Cap, it is a great harness no doubt. I like your idea of a beefier freestyle/team build. I'm no Aaron Hadlow by any stretch but I would buy a burlier version if it were offered. (btw, check out the straps on the Ion Hadlow/Team harness..........it looks like seat belt webbing. :o ) Part of my b...

Re: Ride Engine 2018 Harnesses

I'm happy with the pu tube strap. You wouldn't be if you tried Mystic's Click Bar 4.0 or Pro Limit's Fat Bar..... Not baggin' on anyone or RE, but I've said it before - The strap and closure system is what's holding back the RE from being the end all kite harness. I have a Majestic X and I like it,...

Re: Advice - Don't crash with the board on your feet

Jerome, I saw that pic in Kiteboard Mag and I still LOL'ed when I saw it. I remember you posting that vid here and saying "Damn........that's my nightmare right there." Good stuff. Last year in Hatteras I did a jump in front of my buddies who were swapping kites. My one foot came out and I kicked th...

GoPro Hero 6

It just launched an hour ago. Clone to the 5, just more 4k slow mo rates, new super duper processor, supposedly better image stabilization (still just digital, NON optical) and low light performance. I'm really surprised GoPro hasn't come out with something better. Now no I haven't used it, nor will...

Re: North Click Bar

I have a full season on mine and love it. No issues whatsoever. I have been looking for wear on the center line as discussed in this and other threads, but have not noticed any. The bar may not be worth the extra $$ for everyone, but it has solved all my bar problems and cannot say enough good thin...

Re: Quark - A Gimble for GoPro's (If you're not totally burned on funding campaigns)

Hmmm..........that looks pretty appealing to me. I like the idea of having the gimble and camera as separate items. IE: you eat shit and wreck the gimble, but you still have a usable action cam. (not one very expensive broken gadget) The option to use my older GoPros would be useful. Form factor wis...

Re: Shoe goo on depower line to prevent wear?

Bees wax or candle wax???..............What do you guys do about sand sticking to it? A few years ago I had a Switch Control bar that chewed the depower line ridiculously fast. I ended up putting White Lightning Clean Ride bike lube on it. It's a dry lube wax that sheds dirt/sand when dry. I didn't ...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

I can't believe this thing still isn't out.... For their sake I hope it launches soon and is a reliable, perfect working camera. I didn't invest originally as I'm tired of being an unknowing beta tester for products. For $400 I can't have another dud/dead camera sitting in a drawer. I'm hoping this ...

Re: Naish pivot 2017 8 or 9 meter?

I would for sure do the 8m. I'm 20kg + more than you and use my 8 as my high wind kite. I've been recently thinking about finding a 6m as my 8m seems a bit more grunty/powerful than other brands I've owned. As Taut said, it's a great do everything kite. There are specialist kites that will be better...
