So what exactly did they change?

A grey plastic stopper to a more calming white colored plastic stopper?.........

Re: Dakine C1 break-in?

Ummm.............that's actually how a lot of memory foam works. It requires heat or continued use to form. (think ski boots) But yeah, I have no dog in this fight. I had a Ride Engine that lasted a week in the Turks before it needed to be sent back on warranty. It was comfy....but fit is subjective.

Re: How does your bar handle center line Twists?

In the short time I've had the North Click bar I can easily say this is by some distance the best centre line system. It doesn't auto-untwist - it never twists in the first place as the chicken loop itself simply rotates below the far, and the centre lines don't twist. The bearings are ope n so eas...

Re: Safety Alert: Cabrinha 2017 Power Bracket Seat Replacement

Are Cab bars overly problematic or do other companies just not do recalls/safety bulletins? This is a serious question, and I'm not trying to start a flame war with Cab. I just really would like to know? I've had a couple Cab bars in the past. 2014 was total trash and the 2015 was fine, but did have...

Re: Axis Limited 2015 water splash

No spray for me either.

Owned 136x42 and more recently the 138x42.5.

I'm curious if the 2017s ride any different as they supposedly changed the rocker of the Vanguard/Limited.

Re: How does your bar handle center line Twists?

I saw the new North Click bar which has a square TPU (what's TPU?) depower line which is supposed to automatically untwist the center lines. If that works over time, that's pretty cool. I'm not sure if there is a mechanism in there that needs to be kept clean to facilitate this, but it looks slick....

Re: Cabrinha 2014 bar - impossible to reattach in the water?

I had this system with my Contra. I deployed once........and immediately put the bar on Ebay for sale. What a total POS system. Edit: I believe this is the bar that sinks like a stone as well. That's handy! and has the flagging line tethered all the way up one of the front lines.....total disaster. ...

The bail out you do at 1:56 in the first vid is fricken epic!
Your shadow rolling down the windows was hilarious!

Good on ya for posting that. I usually quickly delete that stuff so I can pretend like the crashes never happened.... 😒

Re: Flotsam! Eyes up in the great lakes.

Good to know. Hopefully heading to Lake Superior within the next week or so. It sucks with the water level so high on the south shore here. Similarly there are logs, deadheads, huge planks with bolts sticking out of them and enough sticks/brush to ruin your lines if you drop the kite. The beach is g...
