Re: Rebel or Evo for 2018

Thanks for your input.

Not to hijack this but you mentioned you had Pivots too. I'm halfway thinking of going to Evos from my Pivots this year. Any comparisons there you can make specifically?

Thx.

Re: Beastmount breakage, your opinions?

I thought I read the Ugo can be used as a strut mount too. Anyone confirm this?

Re: North Click Bar Official Unofficial Thread

Yeah a legit question. Interested as well if I get a '18 Evo 14m (says it needs the high Y) and I still want to use my Click bar with some other brand kites that use the low V.

Re: 2018 Evo 14m test run (video)

Yeah thanks!

I live in the sticks so nowhere to demo really. I'm happy with my Pivot 14, it's really the main kite size I use. Overall it's been great. If I had to improve upon it I'd be looking for something faster, better jumping, and less bar pressure.

Re: 2018 Evo 14m test run (video)

Thanks for the video.

I've been considering replacing my 14 Naish Pivot with one of these. Any comparison with Pivot or any other 14m kites?

Cheers.

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

stabilization != automatic horizon leveling IMO the key feature of the Revl Arc is horizon leveling, not stabilization. Stabilization can easily be performed automatically in post anyway. Ummmm..... Not really on either statement. The #1 job of an external motorized gimbal is stabilization, NOT aut...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Hmmm.... Not really impressed. That's unfortunate. I'm sure what's going on with many buyers on the fence about ordering one of these cameras is this equation: Buying a camera touting revolutionary features (built in gimbal and auto orientation) VS. buying from an unproven start up company (so far h...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Believe me once this camera is in the hands of consumers, it better deliver on it's stabilization or it will be dead in the water before year one is half over. The mountain bike footage will be the proof for me and many others. Not needing a gimbal is really something mountain bikers have wanted for...

Its a simple repair. Patch the leading edge, put a new bladder in and move on.
Probably under a $100 repair being restitched, new bladder and it will be good to go.
