Re: Switch Kiteboarding Launches New Innovative Spider Bridl

nothing innovating in this bridle, just substitute for real r'n'd. ...Reading your comments, to know this it seems like you must have analysed the LE sweep, profile, canopy arc, LE diameter, control bar, everything! And flown the kite in real life! Otherwise you have no idea how the canopy will def...

Re: Switch Kiteboarding Launches New Innovative Spider Bridl

nothing innovating in this bridle, just substitute for real r'n'd. only thing it really does is keeping leading edge tip from flattening. but, how much do you really need it? when kite is powered its wing tips is bending towards each other. when kite is turning it is powered and its wing tips is ben...

Re: How big is Kite Hydrofoiling?

... ... Exactly. I honestly wonder why some are even following this thread since they find foilboarding so un-interesting... well, may i suggest, start with reading the OP post in the beginning of the thread. maybe it saves you the time on honest wondering? Down to business! I am an engineer with s...

Re: How big is Kite Hydrofoiling?

...How things change! Sport progression for me has been Windsurfing, Kifesurfing (300% better), Foilboarding (1000% better in light winds - who knows where I will end up but I do like to boost and I know that is a foil forte but not one I am familiar with at the moment - also trying to avoid disloc...

Re: 2 Broken Kite Lines - 1 session?

S, your positiveness is highly contagious as usual. with all my usual negativity i hope that every heavily overpriced piece of kiteboarding equipment rated for example 600lb will hold not 100lb, not 200lb, not even 600lb, but at least 700lb. even if after outreaching 600lb the piece of gear has to b...

Re: How can you afford to start kiteboarding?

Posted: 22 Jul 2015, 00:22 I've always wanted to do kitesurfing but lessons are way too expensive. Minimum 250 dollars for 2 hours. That's just basic lesson. Then if you want to know more that's another 250 dollars. I want to know how is it even possible to start this sport? There's no way I can sp...

Re: The Mako Completely Reborn

I just got my new 140 but I have a question about the fins... They are slightly curved on the bottom, so when you tighten them down, they are only touching on the two tips and there is a space in the middle. I don't think I could tighten them any more, worried I'd strip something. Is this correct o...

Re: Don´t ban kitesurfing in Germany !

you should alert some independent journalists to investigate who started the kite ban motion and their connections with the land and property owners there.

we had several cases of some dirty politicians and businessmen benefiting "suddenly" after some areas been declared natural reserves or parks.
