Re: Looking for a good 8-9 Meter kite

Try the 7m Core combat GT, it has the same low end as a lot of 8/9m kites, gets going in 16knots upwind with surfboard, it has great top end, excellent bar setup and overall good quality build. I do not work for Core or sell their products. :nono:

Re: Bandit Dos 12m as light wind kite? And are you satisfied?

I had a 12m Bandit Dos, it was good in light wind, not as fast turning as expected. What really irritated me was 6 pump system and high pressure required 10psi LE and 12psi in struts. I sold mine and have moved onto the Core Combat GT, which has similar low end, insane hang time, one pump, better ba...

Re: ex-Cabrinha riders, what're you riding??

My first Cab was xbow 1 12m, since then I have had xbow 19m, xbow 2 12m and xbow 3 7 and 9m. I decided that the 12 turned too slow for waves so I decided to try Bandit Dos 9 and 12, great kite but overhyped, too much set up, average bar with old style chicken loop and excessive PSI 10 fo LE and 12 f...

Re: Core Kite Combat GT

I have recently acquired 7 and 10.5m GT's, super impressed with wind range, quality of kites, depower, ease of setup, bar quality and overall ride. They turn super quick and have great low end, 7m does 16 knots upward on surfboard. It's a pity that the Core brand is not better known as they are onto...

Re: Fone Bandit DOS vs. Slingshot Rev 2????

Before comitting to either kite please demo the Core Combat GT, I have had all three kites and the GT has captured the best of the other two. It is super grunty like bandit dos, but has more depower and is really quick , similar to REV, it also has one pump system, push pull depower which I prefer t...

Re: Kitesurfing back injuries and kitesurfing with a back injury

I had recent L4/5 microdiscectomy. Now about 4weeks since surgery. Prior to incident I purchased 2 new kites requiring very high LE and seperate strut pressure. That combined with a whole host of factors contributed to my injury. I am now convinced about dangers of incorrect pumping technique, I hav...

Re: North Evo vs F-One Bandit Dos -Which to buy or neither?

Delta shape is definitely progressive. You should also consider Core Combat GT, delta shape from Core/Carved kites, it has one pump and a super bar, just a very good allround kite. I had Bandit Dos 12 and 9 and pumping pressure required is 10PSI LE 12PSI struts, this makes for a lot of extra pumping...
