at 50kg you started off with too big of a kite.... seriously 110lb rider should be on a smaller kite at 20 knots, my wife at 125lbs would be on her 7m in 20 knots and her 5m past 25 knots I'm 80kg and would not take a 9m past 25 knots if I had a choice. Everything else happened because of it except...
Yes it's still a wood core board with a carbon layer to add strength. It's the same construction as a 2014 board if I'm correct. I hope I don't get these problems with the straps then, but I tried them with and without boots and so far I had no problems like that and I have size EU42 (UK8). As I sai...
I had no problems with the straps actually. Even with boots it wasn't a problem. I don't think the 2015 straps are different then the 2014's though. As far as I can see from the pictures at least. Also I thought the opposite of what you were saying about the surfy feel. I thought it held it's rail r...
Brand: Xenon Type: Laluz Size: 132x40cm Year: 2015 FIRST IMPRESSION: DESIGN: Personally, I really like the design this board, it’s a simple design but there are some minor details which make it look special, for example the structure on the top layer of the board. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/864...

So it measures from the point you lift off I guess?
Yes, but I don't know if it really works on small waves.
I think it was in a short clip about the trip Lenten en Kevin made to Ireland and then the waves were huge. I can't find the video though.
For sure it looked higher than 13.5m. But I've seen a video from WOO where someone says that the WOO only measures the height from the top of the wave. So if that's true you have to add the waveheight (which sometimes was around 1m-1.5m). Although It would surprise me if that really works with small...
Wow Toby, I already knew you were really full of yourself, but you just took it to another level in the last couple of posts... Congrats. Some people may like to see you spinning and flipping your board with an 18m while jumping 5m. As there are also some people who like to see freestyle/pkra stuff....
We could keep playing this game...that's 40 percent still in height, so a 60 foot jump, Kevin would only need to go 84 foot. you don't think he would win...I don't think you have enough comparable data to even make that call. But hey keep making it up as you go along...why not? :D Look, if you want...
You're right, Dimitri could also win if it was 60% variety, 30% height and 10% style or many other possible ways, as long as variety is the most rewarded (I just completely switched the criteria because it was easier). But just based on the official KOTA criteria where 70% is about height, angle of ...
