One more situation for method 2: if your kite is headed for rocks or a pier or the course of a big vessel AND there's low wind AND there's no breaking waves AND you quickly pull hand over hand - on a 5th so there's no chance of (partial) relaunch. It will be my reason for changing brand since 2003.
The irritation just sank in too deep.

Ozzy, in case you meant my, not Silvers concern: the qr is more important but nowadays there's more good qrs than just North's.

For years I expected North to come up with something better, but it only got worse. Now someone wrote it be solved in http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2376560&start=30 Is it better now?
